Davide Sada's 2010 Bolgheri Superiore is 60-40 Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine is hard and compact on the nose with baritone notes of black fruit, coffee and bitter chocolate. There's some warmth on the finish but the wine is clearly underlined by an enduring sense of tannin structure. Give is a few more years to soften.
